It is fact that no advanced society can operate without power, which has traditionally been supplied with traditional electricity as the leading source. These days there are other options to help households and businesses combat their reliance on electricity and its rising costs worldwide.
Clean, environmentally friendly power sources are what this generation is looking at. This means solar energy has been catapulted right up to a position where it is the choice of millions worldwide, also in countries such as, say, the U.S. and Australia, for instance, where there is a greater than ever before interest in renewable energy sources, such as solar (relating to the sun) power.
Solar power is not a totally new concept and research into its viability as an alternative to traditional energy sources is well known; however, only in the last few decades has it come to the fore as one of the best alternatives. With solar technology (which constantly develops even further) natural sources such as sunlight can be converted into electrical power through either PV panels or mirrors specifically meant for solar radiation.
...
... With the technology at hand, this power or energy is used to create/generate electricity – or to be stored in batteries for later use, for those times that you need the power. This energy is stored in batteries, one of which is referred to as Tesla Powerwall 2. This system is a high-quality, fully integrated AC battery system that is normally used in people’s homes or for other applications where commercial outlets can benefit from the system, but it is not meant for heavy output – it is meant, mainly, for home use and limited commercial application.
The Tesla Powerwall 2 battery system is ideal for storing surplus energy in a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for later use. The system is easy to install and ideal for consumption in and around the home, and in small businesses. The Powerwall 2 is an important step up from the original Powerwall since it can store much more – double, in fact – energy than the first option could. The solar power generated can be used for household purposes, to store energy for when at a later stage you may need it, and you can use it as a backup or during those times that you may experience a power outage when the grid goes down, for example.
This is a great backup as it does not cost you any additional safety measures such as, say, a generator which you will use in emergencies. What sets the Powerwall 2 apart from so many other similar battery systems is the fact that the owner can acquire the Tesla app that allows energy monitoring, metering of usage and other smart controls which the owner has access to in order to check the app’s effectiveness, as well as that of the Powerwall 2.
This rechargeable home system is a solar driven battery system that can be devised and customised to suit the purposes of the individual owner and can, if need be, customized to be composed of up to ten different Powerwalls, for example – to also include traditional Powerwalls in conjunction with the newer generation Powerwall.
The basis on which these Powerwall 2 batteries are created is easy to understand: during daytime when the sun is shining, Powerwall is charged by solar power and when the solar panels receive more power than can be used. Therefore Powerwall will store the power for later use – in the battery system.
In countries such as, say, Australia, Tesla Powerwall batteries are installed by certified companies such as Queensland’s Springers Solar. They are trusted by Tesla to deliver a high-quality service that will support clients’ efforts to benefit from solar energy – and specifically from the Powerwall 2 system.
