How To Create Your Own Fantastic Wedding Updo

To lock the curls in, set the hair overnight with spiral curlers to create lots of tight curls. Then, on the day of your wedding, use a brush or comb to smooth and gather all of the hair on either side of your head above your ears, and pull it back to form a half pony that will sit high on top of the crown.

Make sure that the added hair creates a balanced shape, loose ends pinned in, then release the cascade. You should have a pinned cascade of ringlets and curls.

If you prefer bangs, you can either separate an extra section of hair, or use a hair extension with an artfully designed headband to complete the look. It is a shame to hide this style under a veil, but if you want to, go for it. Another way to show it off is to use a tiara trailing strands of pearls instead of a veil.
