As of October 2016, the CHRP assignment beyond Ontario has been rebranded as the CPHR (Sanctioned Proficient in HR). The rebrand happened after Ontario's common HR affiliation, the HRPA (HR Proficient Affiliation), left the public body, and singularly made a three-layered assignment for their region.
