How Does Your Site Speed Enhance Your Google Ranking?

How you rank on Google's search results could depend a lot on how long it takes your website to load. They said back in 2010 that site speed would be a factor in their search algorithms for both desktop and mobile, but it's still not clear how they measure it or how it affects your site.
Before looking at search position analytics, it's important to keep in mind how important page speed is to the usability of your site. Fast websites give users a better experience, and a good user experience could mean more visitors, longer page visits, return visitors, and visitors who are more likely to interact with your site. So, no matter where page speed might put you in search engine results, the most important thing will always be how easy it is to use your site.
How are you doing?
How much does speed change where you are on Google? Moz did a study to see if there was a real link between site speed and page rank, and they found some interesting results.
They found that the Time To First Byte (TTFB) is the fastest and easiest metric for Google to measure. Because of this, it is the most important factor ...
... in Google's algorithm. The time from when a user makes an HTTP request to when the first byte of the page is sent to the user's browser is used to measure how responsive a web server is.
TTFB is a pretty good way to measure how well a whole website works, and it depends on three things:
* The time it takes for a visitor to reach the server through the network.
* How many people are using the web server at once.
* How quickly the back end of the site can make new content.
So TTFB is important for your search engine ranking, which shows that the performance of your website's back-end is very important. Moz found that the back-end speed of Document Complete or Fully Rendered time frames was more important for the search engine's algorithm than the front-end speed of Document Complete or Fully Rendered time frames.
The back-end includes the web servers, their connections to the network, the use of Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), and the back-end application and database servers. In Moz's study, the speed with which these things responded had a direct effect on the search algorithms.
So, what's it all about?
Well, speed does affect your position, but Google also looks at how well your site works behind the scenes. If your back end is optimised, you have a better chance of moving up in the rankings.
But you shouldn't ignore how fast the front end of your site is, either, because it has a direct effect on how users feel about your site. Even though your page position isn't directly affected by how usable your site is, it is the key to a good user experience, which can lead to linking and sharing, which does affect your Google ranking.
In conclusion, if you want to be in a comfortable position, you need to work on increasing your pace on both ends. Contact us; our team is available here- https://www.gtechwebindia.com/
