Planting time of celery

How to grow celery

1. Sowing method

2. Seedling management

After the seeds of celery germinate and emerge, pay attention to keep the soil moist to improve the survival rate of seedlings.

When the seedlings grow about 3 leaves, the seedlings should be inter-planted 3 times throughout the seedling stage, and fertilized with thin water about 5 times, mainly with nitrogen fertilizer in the early stage, and the proportion of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer in the later stage.

3. Planting points

Choose healthy seedlings and start planting from the outside in. The planting depth can be kept without seeing the rootstock, and the plant spacing is controlled at about 25 cm to control the planting density.

After planting, pay attention to the temperature control, the daytime temperature should be about 18 degrees,pot drying and the temperature difference between day and night should be 10 degrees. When the seedlings grow to about 15 cm high, start the water and fertilizer management, chasing fertilizer once every 2-3 weeks, and harvesting in about two months.

4. Field management

One month after planting, the celery enters the peak growth period, so this time should be heavily watered and fertilized.

In the planting, we also need to pay attention to the weeding work. Because too many weeds will steal the nutrients and water needed for the growth of celery, resulting in a decline in celery production, seriously affecting the benefits of planting.
