Marshside Cabins – Fort McAllister State Park
These beautifully decorated and well-appointed two-bedroom cabins are ideal for a low-country getaway. Yurt Villages – Six State Parks
Glamping yurts take camping to a whole new level. These canvas and wood tent-cabins have beds on the inside, a picnic table and grill outside, a relaxing porch, breathtaking views, and hot showers just a short walk away. Cloudland Canyon, Red Top Mountain, High Falls, Tugaloo, Sweetwater Creek, and Fort Yargo state parks all have yurt villages, as do lakeside yurts. Boaters will particularly appreciate those at Tugaloo on Lake Hartwell. These unique camping experiences are popular among guests, so make sure to book ahead of time to secure your preferred spot.
Historic Farmhouses – General Coffee State Park
General Coffee State Park is known as one of southern Georgia's "best-kept secrets," with log cabins, a corn crib, a tobacco barn, a cane mill, and other exhibits at Heritage Farm. Guests to the park can truly immerse themselves in the experience by renting the elegant, three-bedroom Burnham House from the 19th century. The Burnham House has a fully equipped kitchen, central heating and air conditioning, satellite, TV, and board games for up to 8 people. The house is a step back in time while still providing modern conveniences.
Fisherman’s Cabin – Mistletoe State Park
Mistletoe State Park is a fisherman's paradise, located on the shores of 71,000-acre Clarks Hill Lake, Georgia's largest reservoir and one of the best bass fishing spots in the country. In addition to the five log cabins available for rent within the park, there is a special Fisherman's Cabin. This dog-friendly cabin is located directly on the lake's shores, has one bedroom with a full-size bed and a queen-size sleeper sofa, and a private dock ideal for early risers hoping to catch the big one.
The Barrel Cabins – Unicoi State Park
Sleep in cabins made from retired wine barrels at Unicoi State Park in Helen, memorial park Atlanta, for a truly unique experience. The one or two-bedroom barrel cabins are remarkable in nearly every way, with full kitchens, living areas, and porches overlooking the grounds. Cabins, with their unusual design, provide guests with both comfort and quirkiness. Our accommodations range from a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom with a sleeper sofa to a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom with a King or Queen bed. Stone Cabins – FD Roosevelt State Park
F.D. Roosevelt State Park's beautifully renovated cottages do an excellent job of blending the rustic historic charm of these 1930's homes with modern furnishings. These cabins, which are scattered throughout this 9,000-acre park, provide stunning mountaintop and lakefront views. The historic log and stone cabins both have fully equipped kitchens and full baths, as well as screened porches for relaxation after a day of adventure. Reynolds Mansion – Sapelo Island
The Reynolds Mansion, located on the small barrier island of Sapelo Island, is a stunning, historic estate for those with more opulent tastes. Len Foote Hike Inn – Amicalola State Park
As the name implies, you must hike in to reach this wooded retreat. The five-mile hike leads you to the Hike Inn's secluded location in North Georgia's mountains. It has twenty private guest rooms, hot showers, fresh linens, and home-cooked meals in its four main buildings.
