The Epley Maneuver
The Epley Maneuver is one of the most widely used vertigo exercises for treating benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). This exercise helps to dislodge debris from the inner ear which is often responsible for causing vertigo symptoms. It can be performed in the comfort of your own home and usually takes less than five minutes.
The Epley Maneuver is made up of four steps:
1. Sit on the edge of your bed with your head turned 45 degrees to the side that you feel the most dizziness.
2. Lie down quickly on your back and keep your head still in the same position.
3. Wait 30 seconds before turning your head 90 degrees to the opposite side and then quickly lying on that side.
4. Wait another 30 seconds before sitting up.
When performing the Epley Maneuver, it is important to stay as still as possible and move as quickly as you can to help ensure that the debris is dislodged correctly. If you do not feel any relief after completing the maneuver, you may need to repeat it a few times until you experience relief from your vertigo symptoms.

The Semont Maneuver
...
... One of the most effective vertigo exercises to get rid of vertigo is the Semont Maneuver. It is sometimes referred to as the Liberatory Maneuver or the Epley Maneuver in reverse. The goal of this exercise is to move debris that may be stuck in the semicircular canals of the ear, which is what causes vertigo.
To perform the Semont Maneuver, sit on a bed and turn your head 45 degrees to one side. Quickly lie down so your head is turned to the opposite side. Remain there for at least 30 seconds, then quickly turn your head back 45 degrees to the original side and stay there for 30 seconds.
You may experience some vertigo during this maneuver, but it should diminish within 30 seconds. If you feel dizzy afterward, lie down for a few minutes until it passes. Repeat this exercise three times daily for several weeks for best results.
The Semont Maneuver is an effective way to reduce vertigo and relieve symptoms associated with vertigo such as dizziness, nausea, and balance problems. It is one of the more commonly used vertigo exercises and can be done without assistance from another person.

The Brandt-Daroff Exercise
The Brandt-Daroff Exercise is one of the most effective vertigo exercises for relieving symptoms of vertigo. This exercise requires no special equipment, and it can be done at home. The exercise helps to retrain the brain and inner ear to respond appropriately to stimuli that trigger vertigo.
To start the Brandt-Daroff Exercise, sit on the edge of a bed and turn your head 45 degrees toward one side. Remain in that position for 30 seconds and then quickly turn your head to the opposite side and stay there for another 30 seconds. This should be repeated several times per day, up to 10 times each session.
The Brandt-Daroff Exercise can help reduce the intensity of vertigo and other associated symptoms, such as nausea and imbalance. However, this exercise should not be attempted if you are feeling dizzy or lightheaded. If the exercise worsens your symptoms, contact your doctor for advice.
By performing the Brandt-Daroff Exercise regularly, you can take steps towards relieving your vertigo symptoms and improving your quality of life.
