Brochures are an efficient and convenient method to get the marketing message of your business. You can put it to good use. It is an effective marketing tool. However, just as with any other marketing material, they need an engaging and attractive design to draw and retain the attention of prospective customers. Even a small mistake can have a negative impact on your brand’s reputation or sales.

1. Not Paying Attention to the Content

Regardless of how well-designed your brochure is, the absence of proper content might mar your full-color brochure printing effort. As they do not give you a large space to convey your message, focus on your primary messaging. For instance, since you are promoting your brand, you have to highlight your company logo, name, tagline, and other business details. If you have to advertise a specific product, use a combination of images and a message. But don’t use too many words. This will make sure that your customers don’t lose interest.

Since most brochures have an open layout, designers choose to separate information by using different fonts and font sizes. However, the key is to be consistent with your A4 brochure printing. Hence, you have to make sure that you are consistent with the fonts.

In case you have to highlight a specific area of the text, you can use bold colors rather than different fonts. Using too many fonts on the A4 brochures can confuse the readers.

4. Not Adding the Call to Action

If you are printing A4 brochures without a call-to-action, it is meaningless. With the right call-to-action, you can initiate new customer relationships.

Your customers should know what steps they need to take. Add a clear call-to-action, such as ‘Email Us’ or ‘Call Us Now’. Your primary aim is to drive traffic to your brand’s website or promote your products and services. Hence, make sure that you are including your website address, contact number, email ID, QR codes, etc.

5. Not Keeping Enough Head Room

A brochure you are printing to promote your brand should not be overcrowded. If it is then your customers might lose interest. Regardless of how interesting your services and products are, cramming all details in one brochure can cause more harm than good. Also, bi one likes reading chunks of text. So, make sure you divide them using headings and subheadings.

Often, readers scan the brochures. Hence, if you don’t use proper alignments, they might miss out on the key points. You have to ensure that your brochure has enough white space and images for breaking up the test. Also, include only the most important details. The cover header has to be catchy.
