Discovered - Currently Not Indexed: Guaranteed Fix
Check this blog and you will definitely get good results. I was also facing this same issue and needed to get accurate results to fix this problem on the internet. So shared my personal experience.
Visitors, if you have visited this blog page, this means you are facing an issue while doing SEO. Some of the pages while doing SEO of website are discovered but not getting indexed. Right?
Do you know the exact meaning of this? Do you want to know why this is happening? From your website, some of the pages are getting crawled and indexed properly. Some of the pages need to be indexed. If this is happening to you, then I am sure you are in the right place. I was also facing this same issue and needed to get accurate results to fix this problem on the internet.
So I did my own R&D and was able to fix this issue.
Let us check in complete detail why discovered - currently not indexed happened:
Duplicate pages: You are running a website or doing SEO on your client's website. There must be several pages available on that website. So when crawlers visit the website, they identify some ...
... of the pages as duplicate pages with duplicate content and don't index those pages. That's why they are added under discovered - currently not indexed.
Sitemap issue: this is also possible that some pages are not added to the sitemap. It is also possible that your website sitemap is not updated as per the latest updates.
Content quality: as per Google, your website must contain good-quality content. So when crawlers visited your website, they didn't find good quality content and didn't index those pages.
Server response: if you own a server that can't handle a good amount of requests, you can also have this indexing issue. Crawlers visited your website and found some pages to be crawled, but due to poor server response, they went back without indexing them. So for this, sometimes you get an error of server overload on your Google search console.
Robot.txt file: sometimes, your robot.txt file can block your page from indexing. Although you have allowed everything in that file, your page can still be blocked by this file. The same issue we also faced and checked our robot.txt file. It was fine as it should be. But still, we were getting on Google search console that your robot.txt file is blocking this URL from getting indexed. So we changed the slug of that page, and it was successfully indexed.
These were the maximum possibilities due to which your website pages were discovered but have yet to be indexed. If this is not the case with you and all things are fine, still facing the same issue, then why this happened?
We also faced the same issue and was not getting any good result either from google or from blogs available according to this topic. So now we used our strategy and got succeeded.
On website issues, we have a total of 180 pages available. We want that each page should be properly crawled and should be properly indexed with google. But out of these 180 pages, only 34 were crawled and successfully indexed. Our home page contains all the tools, and no page was crawled from the home page.
With crawling, it was possible to rank those tools according to their targeted keywords. As I told you earlier, we changed our strategy and succeeded. More than 15 tools are successfully crawled and left with some of the pages. All these pages were under the discovered-currently, not indexed situation.
Let me tell you a very basic strategy to overcome the problem of discovered- currently not indexed problem:
Always check your sitemap.xml file first. You must update this file per the latest pages available on your website.
From your Google search console, check for the error of not indexed pages. Ensure you are following this strategy for discovered - currently, not indexed pages only.
Open the list of all these pages available under this particular category.
Now open the Google search console in one new tab. Let your list of pages should also open in another tab.
Copy the link of any page from the list and paste the link in the inspect URL field in the new tab and click enter.
You will get an error saying this page is not crawled.
Submit the request now only to crawl that page.
Repeat this step for all other URLs available in that list. Only try to submit up to 10 crawl requests; otherwise, you will get an error displaying that your daily quota is over and will come back tomorrow.
After submitting the crawling request of those pages, click on the Validate Fix button and wait for 2-3 days to get a response from Google.
You will succeed like us, and your discovered, and not indexed pages will be successfully indexed.
By following this SEO strategy, only our few pages are left to be indexed. So we advised you to follow this 100% working strategy and get your pages indexed successfully.
Due to this, our website "website issues" is successfully ranking in more than 100 keywords on Google's first page. Some of the pages are on Google 2nd and 3rd position only.
This strategy is our personal experience; it worked successfully for us. It may not work for you. So if this happens to you, comment under this blog, and we will be happy to help you fix your issues.
Happy reading, everyone...
