Now that you have made plans to go for a road trip on the year-end, you should make sure that you car has the five essential things that you can need anytime. We have shared the list below so that you are fully prepared when you hit the road.

Water and non-perishable food items - this is a must. You don’t know whether you will find any stores open in the early morning or not. If you are hungry, what will you do then? Driving on an empty stomach is not a good idea. You should always have enough bottles of water and non-perishable food items in your car. Whenever, you are hungry, you can eat from there.

Blankets, gloves and other winter clothing’s - keep a stock of warm clothes with you. Whenever you feel cold or your hands are freezing up, you can wear the gloves or put the blankets over your legs.

First aid box and emergency torch - you never know when you might require a first aid box. Hence, it is a good idea to carry one when you are out and about. At the same time, the emergency torch will come handy if you need to see something.

Snowbrush, ...
... shovel and an ice scarper - these three things will help you the most when you are stuck in the middle of the road because of unexpected snowing. Instead of abandoning the car in the middle of the road, you can use an ice scraper to remove the snow and clear the path. The ice scraper and the snowbrush will come handy as well.

And finally, keep an extra bottle of engine oil and tank fuel in the car. If the vehicle shuts down in the middle of the road, you can use these two to start the car. You don’t know if there is any authorized Audi service Perth centre in the middle of the road. What will you do then?

All these items are easy to procure and store in the car. You can take out whatever you need as per the situation. Only two days are left for the year to end. Buy the items today and get the needful done. Don’t keep things for the last minute. There is a high chance that you will forget to buy something or the other. There is no point in taking any kind of chance.
