The customers can use all the three AIT tapes including AIT-1, AIT 2 and AIT-3 with SDX-D700C/BM tape drive. You can store data and also extract the previously recorded data from all these AIT tapes. Sony AIT-3 tapes are built tough to support high density recordings and provide long term protection. Strength of this AIT tape's carbon coating is almost 20 times greater than the conventional metal oxide tapes.
