Did you know that India’s literacy rate is currently at 77.7%? However, India still accounts for 64% of its population residing in rural communities and suffering from unemployment. The key lies in educating the poor and therefore alleviating them from poverty while also empowering them. Education NGO in India play a crucial role in this development by providing support for underprivileged students to complete their education. The support provided varies from NGO to NGO. Some provide financial support, distribute school kits, some provide bicycles, and one such NGO is the Centre For Transforming India (CFTI).
The role of NGOs in building literacy rates is by being the medium to execute government schemes to support underprivileged children.

Works of CFTI:
CFTI was established in 2009 and is a registered NGO under the Indian Trusts Act of 1882. Their contribution towards rural development is commendable, applaudable and worth every bit of appreciation. CFTI works to uplift rural communities through their skill development programmes, healthcare, emergency aid during natural disasters, and water conservation ...
... projects, and one of their major focuses is supporting education of rural children. They have provided aid for educating the poor by constructing classrooms, granting scholarships, and distributing tabs for online classrooms and bicycles for girl students. So far, they have helped approximately 1 lakh, underprivileged students, to complete their education.
Their bicycle distributions have been a successful feat among rural villages as it has saved more than 15,000 girls from dropping out of school. These girls have had to walk 4-5 kilometres daily through tumultuous roads, dense forests and unsafe paths to reach their school. Having contributed majorly towards educating the poor, it is safe to call CFTI one of the best education NGO in India.

Partner with CFTI:
Contributing to support education in rural India is one of the most tangible ways to fulfil your duty. There are various ways one can join hands with this education NGO:
● Donate to educate the underprivileged with direct donations.
● Collaborate as a CSR Partner to help students complete their education.
● Volunteer to be a part of the on-ground team of CFTI.
● Organise a fundraiser to contribute towards the upliftment of rural communities.

To conclude, gift underprivileged children the power of education by opting to partner with an education NGO like CFTI. Donate to educate in any of the four ways mentioned above and welcome 2023 on a positive note.
