Cotton is a fertilizer-loving crop and is sensitive to various elements. Once the fertilizer is deficient, the growth of cotton will be seriously affected. The cotton plants will grow weak, the plants will be short, the leaves will be small, the color will be abnormal, the flowers and buds will fall seriously, and the later stage will show premature aging. Timely and appropriate fertilization according to different growth stages of cotton is an important prerequisite for high cotton yield. By observing the characteristics of cotton's fertilizer requirement, summarizing the law of cotton's fertilizer requirement, and putting forward a reasonable fertilization plan, laying a good foundation for high cotton yield and harvest. Below, the editor will explain the cotton drip irrigation and fertilization technology in detail.

First, the method of drip irrigation and fertilization of cotton

(1) Drip application of nitrogen fertilizer

Nitrogen fertilizer is applied with urea 420-510kg/hm2 with the water drop during the cotton growth period, and the sandy soil cotton field should be small and frequent, cannabis equipment ...
... and it should not be large in the early stage, and pay attention to replenishment in the later stage. Clay soil cotton fields drip fertilizer 5-6 times during the whole growth period, 1 time each at the initial flowering stage, early flowering stage, full flowering stage, full flowering and bolling stage, and full bolling stage; Do more. Cotton fields with loamy soil (cotton fields in the Bingtuan reclamation area are mostly loamy soils) drip fertilizer 7-8 times during the whole growth period, 1 time before and after flowering, 1 time at the early flowering stage, and 1 time at the full flowering stage, 2 times at the flowering and boll stage, 2 times at the bolling stage, and boll opening It is hoped that the growth of cotton can be flexibly grasped.

(2) Drip application of phosphate fertilizer

Potassium dihydrogen phosphate is better for phosphate fertilizer dripping, and monoammonium phosphate and diammonium phosphate are also acceptable. Phosphate fertilizer drip application can be carried out simultaneously with nitrogen fertilizer drip application.

(3) Drip application of potassium fertilizer

Potassium fertilizer drip application is also better with potassium dihydrogen phosphate, and potassium sulfate and potassium chloride are also acceptable. Potassium fertilizer drip application is also carried out simultaneously with nitrogen fertilizer drip application.

(4) Drip application of trace elements zinc and boron

Highly soluble DDHA-Zn and EDTA-Zn chelates can be used for zinc fertilizer drip application. However, EDTA-Zn is easy to decompose when the pH value of irrigation water is greater than 7, and it is not suitable for mixed application with alkaline fertilizers. Therefore, it is recommended to use DDHA-Zn chelate in Xinjiang cotton area. It is advisable to use boric acid with high solubility and instant Soleboron TM with high solubility for drip application of boron fertilizer. If borax is used, it should be dissolved in warm water, and its clear solution should be used.

Second, the technical requirements of drip irrigation and fertilization

(1) The implementation of drip irrigation and fertilization must have high-quality soil, good physical properties, rich capillary pores, and strong air permeability, which can make the water and fertilizer of drip irrigation evenly infiltrate more than 20-30cm vertically and horizontally, forming a shallow and wide cone. humid zone. This requires the combination of high yield and fertilization, through the application of organic fertilizers, to improve the soil structure and form good soil physical properties.

(2) Different growth stages of cotton have different requirements for nutrient elements and the ratio of each nutrient element. On the basis of soil testing formula and according to the law of cotton's fertilizer demand, vertical grow shelf timely and appropriate amount of fertilizer should be supplied at different growth stages. Nutrient elements, and can add medium and trace elements as needed to supply nutrients from the ground and take advantage of drip irrigation and fertilization technology.

(3) The applied fertilizer must be dissolved in the fertilization tank and then dripped with water. When fertilizing with water, water should be dripped for 0.5-1.0h first, and then the dissolved fertilizer should be dripped in, and fertilization should be stopped 0.5-1.0h before the water is stopped to reduce the fixation of the soil to the fertilizer.

(4) The soil in Xinjiang is mostly alkaline, which requires drip irrigation fertilizers to be neutral or acidic fertilizers to reduce the impact of water and alkaline substances in the soil on fertilizer efficiency.

(5) Drip irrigation fertilizers must have good water solubility (≥99.5%), contain less impurities and harmful ions, and prevent uneven fertilizer and water in cotton fields and reduced fertilizer efficiency caused by dripper blockage.

The above is the cotton drip irrigation and fertilization technology article provided by the editor. The drip irrigation cotton field should determine the appropriate irrigation amount according to the soil moisture content, temperature, daily evaporation and transpiration, and the nutrition and reproductive growth of cotton. The dripping time should not be too early or too late At night, the amount of water dripped each time should neither be too small nor too much, otherwise, it will either cause slow growth of cotton, or cause cotton to grow vigorously, especially crazy growth, so that the leaf coefficient is too large, there are few bolls, and the weight of a single boll is low, which is harmful to cotton. High yields are extremely dangerous.
