That person will place an order to buy the product.
Once you receive the order, you'll let your dropshipping partner know about it.
Your drop shipping partner will ship the order to the client on your behalf and charge you a commission for the service.
Then you'll charge the customer, and the difference in the prices will become your profit.
And that's how dropshipping works!
As I mentioned earlier, the business model is simple and easy to execute.
However, you'll also face certain challenges as a dropshipping business owner.
For example, there is always the possibility of having problems with your suppliers. That's why you should do extensive research, find the best suppliers in your niche, and work only with them.
I have to mention that you'll have less control over the client experience:
Unfortunately, your dropshipping partners will deal with product shipment on your behalf, and you have to rely on them to deliver a satisfying customer experience.
There might be also some issues with the inventory:
If you decide to work with multiple suppliers, you'll have a hard time making sure the products you need are available all the time.
But if you plan your dropshipping business carefully, you'll be able to avoid most of the common issues with this business model.
After all, doing dropshipping business is one of the most profitable online careers you can secure for yourself:
