Make sure to show the designs to the client in order to take their approval. If they suggest any changes, you need to incorporate those changes and show the design again for the final approval.
 
Start the work after you get the final approval. Keep the client abreast of the happenings and the status of the work. Once you win the client confidence, you will have a loyal customer for life. It is important to feel the pulse of the client and deliver accordingly.
