This disturbs the structure and strength of the bone, and leads to pain, loss of purpose and sometimes bleeding and hurt around the site. Our skeleton is made up of bones. Bones are a type of connection tissue, reinforced with calcium and bone cells. Bones have an easier center, called bone marrow, where blood cells are made. • Apply a splint to support the limb. Splints do not have to be professionally manufactured. Items like made of wood boards and folded magazines can work for some fractures. Immobilize the limb above and below the fracture.
