It is believed that Maharana Pratap, with his beloved Chetak horse, once saved his master's life in the legendary battle of Haldighati. Udai Sagar Lake

Constructed in 1565 by Maharana Udai Singh, It is one of the spectacular places to visit in Udaipur for its tranquillity and the picturesque sunsets. The lake is one of the five notable lakes of Udaipur, which was a by-product of a dam built across the Berach river to ensure a continuous flow of water supply in the city. Visitors who visit this lake can also take up a boat cruise of the lake or a shore cruise on a camel to fully enjoy the place.

Jagmandir

Also called Jag Island Palace is a captivating monument built from marble, which floats in the lake. It also accommodates residential suites, reception halls and internal courts.
