A Cricut machine is a cutting machine that lets you cut various materials for your craft projects like paper, HTV, vinyl, and cardstock. Some Cricut models can also cut thin wood, fabric, leather, and more. A few models of Cricut machine offer a bit different features from one another.
HOW DOES THE CRICUT MACHINE WORK?
I hope now you know what is a Cricut machine now. The Cricut machine resembles a household printer. The only difference is that the Cricut machine does not print your design on a sheet of paper as a printer does. Instead, it uses a movable blade to cut the design out of paper or any other material.
So, how does it work? It works with a software known as Cricut’s design software ...
... or app. You create the design in the Cricut design and then send it to the Cricut machine via USB or Bluetooth. The Cricut machine receives the design and cuts the material with a small, precise blade.
So, here is the process by which a Cricut machine works:
Select your cutting material and place it on the cutting mat. The cutting mat holds the material in one place while the Cricut cuts. You need to place the mat into the machine.
Then, you have to choose a design in the Cricut design space.
After that, customize the material settings and send the design to your Cricut cutting machine.
Start the Cricut machine by pressing the start button.
After the cutting is done, remove the cutting mat and the material from the machine.
