What Is Organic Alcohol?
Introduction
Alcohol is one of the most commonly consumed beverages in the world. Many people enjoy alcohol for its flavor and some find that it helps them relax or sleep. However, drinking too much alcohol can have negative consequences, including nausea, stunted coordination, blackouts, and even death. When it comes to alcohol, there are a variety of options available. From organic beer and wine to distilled spirits like whiskey and bourbon, drinkers have many different ways to enjoy their favorite beverages organically. If you want to enjoy alcohol without suffering from side effects, organic alcohol would be the perfect choice for an enjoyable and healthy time with friends and family.
Organic Alcohol
Certified organic ethanol is made from grains, such as corn or wheat, that have not been treated with industrial chemicals. It typically has higher alcohol content than conventional liquor and can be found in most convenience stores. Since organic alcohol is healthier and it is better for the environment, organic ...
... alcohol is gaining popularity worldwide.
200 proof grain alcohol is a type of distilled spirit made from fermented grains. It typically has a 200-proof or higher rating where the term "proof" refers to the percentage of Alcohol by Volume in a distillate. In this case, proof means that there are 200 parts per thousand (PPM) of Alcohol by Volume present in the finished product.
The majority of 200 proof grain alcohol currently available on the market is produced using wheat as its base substance. To make Proof Grain Alcohol, brewers first malt the chosen grains and then combine them with water.
Benefits of Organic Alcohol
One big benefit of drinking certified organic ethanol is that it can be healthier for you. In general, conventional alcoholic drinks contain ingredients that can damage your health over time. Organic vodka contains no chemical antioxidants or flavorings which allows the natural flavors in fermented vegetables used as distillate material (carrots, etc) to come through clearly giving it a unique natural taste. Organic alcohol is made without pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or other chemicals that harm the environment. This means it will help improve wildlife populations and protect soil fertility.
It's also more expensive than processed liquor but don't let that fool you into thinking it isn't worth shelling out for. A bottle of 100% organic vodka can run about $15 on average, but this price reflects the quality of the product and has far lesser side effects on your health than inorganic alcohol. Organic alcohol is fashioned from materials that are not treated with synthetic chemicals which mean that organic alcohol may have unique flavors and effects due to the nature of the ingredients used in its production.
