Master of Dental Science (MDS)

Master of Dental Science is a post-graduate course for 3 years. Students with a BDS degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks and in some cases students with 1-year internship experience can only study this course. Students must also appear for entrance exams to pursue MDS.

Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Dental Science

Students who want to do a Ph. D in Dental Science must have a post-graduation degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 55 percent marks from a recognized University. Students must also appear for entrance exams to pursue this course. The period of the course is between 3 years to 6 years.

Diploma in Dentistry

There are various diploma courses in dentistry that the students can take after their class 12 exams which is of 2 years. To pursue the course, students must have passed their class 12 or higher secondary examination with at least 50 percent marks with chemistry, physics, and biology as compulsory subjects from a recognized board or university.

Certificate in Dentistry

The dentistry field also offers students with various certificate-level courses. The period of the certificate course is between 3 months to 1 year.
