It is a day to stand up against inequalities towards socio-economically backward youth and equip them with skills that will eventually help build their lives. World Youth Skills Day is a day to recognize the actuality that young women and girls, and boys from backward socio-economic strata receive insufficient opportunities for higher education and skill development. This notion needs to be changed in 21st century India in order to evolve into a nation much better than any other.
