In photo composition practice, you have to change the LCD display to gridlines or boxes - soon, you'll see the screen with nine equal blocks - three columns and three rows. Then, move your camera around until the subjects are positioned within these blocks. It can be enhanced if you play around with different angles or any position if you think it will look good in the picture.
It's important to have good sense of lighting - if you master it well, you can create all sorts of emotions by having shades on the subjects. On the other hand, adjusting the ISO setting is meant for taking clearer pictures under different conditions - ISO 400 for capturing images under dim conditions as well as taking pictures of fast moving subjects, and 800-1600 for capturing images outdoors.
