Sponsor A Child Programme
This programme aims to help students who have a strong academic record but are unable to continue their studies owing to financial difficulties. The less fortunate population possesses a plethora of talent, but poverty has historically kept that talent from reaching the pinnacles of success. Vidya Chetana advances its goal of youth empowerment by assisting deserving students in their pursuit of higher education. Students are selected after a house visit and background check, Career counselling, student counselling, and life skill training sessions are all part of the package.
In order to sponsor selected students, you will be presented with their educational profiles. You have the option of sponsoring a student who meets the educational and financial requirements as a donor. After you've made your decision, you can donate to children's education by transferring funds into our bank account or making an online donation for education to our website. We distribute the funds to the sponsored student once we receive them.

How much donation can be made?
Donors have the option of selecting one of four scholarships available. You can choose to sponsor a student who is partially sponsored or who requires complete funding. You can choose to donate to one of the following
o PUC: ₹15000
This scholarship is for students who have finished tenth grade and must attend college or high school for two years to acquire a degree.
o Degree: ₹25000
This scholarship is for students who want to continue their undergraduate education in any field. A degree is required if a student wants to pursue a successful career in a certain field.
o Engineering: ₹50000
This scholarship is for students who wish to continue their undergraduate engineering studies. An engineering degree can lead to positions in electrical, computer, environmental, and pharmaceutical engineering. Engineering, on the other hand, can provide an excellent basis for practically any career path for today's college grads.
o Medical Education: ₹50000
This scholarship is for those who wish to pursue a medical degree after completing their undergraduate studies. A medical degree is a professional degree awarded to graduates of a recognised medical school.
Donors can fully sponsor a child, or they can even make a partial payment.
For many students, basic essentials such as food, shelter, and clothing are out of reach. In such times, education is not prioritised, resulting in students dropping out and being forced down the path of illiteracy.
When you donate to the education of the underprivileged or sponsor a student, you can help to prevent this tragedy. If you can’t sponsor a student completely, that is completely alright because you can assist kids with fees, school supplies, footwear, transportation, and opportunities to demonstrate their talents.
Why should you choose to support our students?
You can save money on your taxes by taking advantage of the 80g tax exemption when you make a donation under 80g that is paid for education. For each student you sponsor, you will receive a certificate of sponsorship as well as occasional updates. Through our Scholarship Program, we help impoverished children from 10th grade till graduation. Please help us in maintaining our support for them. Your contributions will enable students to attend university and obtain an education that they would not otherwise be able to obtain.
