Here’s a british inspired architecture built by the king Chamaraja Wodeyar in the year 1887 , known for its splendid architecture and grandeur. Banglore palace stands on a piece of land originally owned by Reverend J Garret , who was the principal of banglore central high school. The land was purchased by the british gaurdians of Chamarajendra Wodeyar who was still an infant for the cost of 40,000 rupees.
The construction started on 1874 and ended on 1878.

Located 35 kilometers from north of Bengaluru city , at Devanahalli . originally built by mallabairegowda later on passed on and was captured by the the hydaralli and the subsequently by Tipu sultan. SAVANDURGA
These beautiful rocky hills located 60kms west of Bengaluru off the magadi road. These hills arw considered to be among the largest monolith hills in Asia . these hills are home to many flora and fauna including the endangering bird yellow throated bulbuls and were once home to long billed vultures, other wildlifes include slothbear and lepords
The fauna here has a dry and deciduous degrading forests. The forest is formed by two hills basically locally known as the kari gudda ( blackhill ) and billigudda ( whitehill ) . The hills is often visited by the piligrims who come to visit savndi veerabhadra swamy and Narasimha swamy situated at the foot of the temple. The mountains are also famous with the trekkers and cave explorers due to its structure and rocky environment. Savandurga provides some world class trekking routes for adventurers .

RANGANATHITTU BIRD SANCTUARY
Ranganathittu bird sanctuary is also known as the pakshi kashi of Karnataka , it is a bird sanctuary located in the Mandya district of Karnataka , and is the largest bird sanctuary in the state . The islets of these sanctuary were formed when an embankment was built by the the king of mysore , Knateerava Narasimha Wadiyar , soon these islets started attracting birds when the ornithologist salim ali observed that the islets formed an important ground for birds , he convinced the king of Mysore to declare the area as protected area in 1940.
There are many activites a tourist can do in this islets through out the day like ranger guided boat tours, bird watching ect. The place houses a variety of wildlife like the dangerous crocodiles , otters , bats ect. The peak season to see the birds here are June-November .
