Momos! Who does not love it? Everybody loves it! It is the most popular street food in north India. That does not mean it is not loved by the other non-north Indian people. It is popular all over India. It is represented as a 5 minutes snack. That means you can complete these snacks or fast food within 5 minutes.
It is believed that momo’s were first originated in Tibetan origin. The word "momo" is derived from the Tibetan term "mog mog". It is also referred to as a type of dumpling in the rest of the world because momos and dumplings both look very similar in structure. But Indian momos have their own taste due to the Indian spices that are used to prepare it. Momo’s are looking like dough wrapped in which vegetables or chicken or meat are puffed. These are mostly steamed. The traditional momos steamer is called a Mucktoo. It is a metal utensil with holes at the base. In many places, bamboo steamers are also used. But new techniques of cooking are coming out day by day. Apart from India, momos are extremely popular in Nepal. Nowadays, dumpling are available online and also comes in ready-made frozen form. The frozen dumpling are also referred to as ready-to-eat momos. You just have to put the frozen momos in hot water and after some time they will be ready to be served.

Due to some busy schedules nowadays people prefer online orders and some lover choose frozen momos from the shop. It also comes in many varieties and flavors like chicken, vegetable, meat momos, and many more varieties. Eating too many of it can also lead to constipation. You should always eat momos from well-hygiene stalls or restaurants so that you will not get any food poisoning after eating that. And if you find any types of digestion issue after eating momos then you should visit your doctor. Because momos are very spicy food, they may cause gastric and vomiting if you eat too many. Eating with proper care and control will not affect your health, and you can taste many varieties of momos in the market or online store.
