●Lintel- it is an architecture structure which is in horizontal shape and it supports the weight of the chimney over the firebox
●Foundation- it is a type of pad made of concrete which supports the weight of both chimney and fireplace on it.
●Hearth- it is the floor of the fireplace
Mantel, surround, smoke chamber, spark arrester and throat are some other parts of fireplace.
