USB cables come in different sizes and shapes, despite the fact, a lot of them do the same things. A mobile phone is necessary for today’s society and impossible to imagine a life without one. We all think of upgrading our current versions by analyzing the technical specs and features, it is equally important to think about mobile charging connectors to make your life easier. Many different mobile charging connectors have benefits and are suited for tasks. The ports and cables used by tablets and smartphones will be either micro USB or USB C on one end with the USB a type on the other end. Some cables that come with older models will only have a plug and not have a USB on the end. These plugs have a much lower amperage. Android smartphones have used USB Micro B connectors for charging and data transfer.

Various mobile charging cables:

Mini USB phone charger- you will find this in some rugged phones and flip tops because the mini USB connector and the socket tend to be more robust than the equivalent micro USB.

Micro USB - micro USB connector ...
... is the most common connector for smartphones and tablets. It is the go-to connector for smartphone manufacturers. There are two subtypes of this charger- type A and type B.
USB C phone charger- USB C or Type C is the future USB charging in smartphones. It is a standard of the same connector on each end and is fully reversible. They are good in connectivity, speed charging, and faster data transfer.

USB 1, 2, and 3- USB one was the original USB standard phone charger. The numbers signify that all ports and available transfer speeds are backwardly compatible.

Lightning- Lightning is not a true USB standard, but it’s apple's proprietary connector for the Apple iPhone, some iPad models, and more. It is of a similar size to a USB C.

In most cases, USB cables have one standard type A and one type B end of some sort. The Type B end receives power, whereas Type A end powers the device. It is to prevent potential damage that can cause by connecting two computers via USB-A. Type A mobile charging connectors are rigid and can only accommodate specific ports. Whereas, the idea behind the development of type B connectors is to prevent the risk of connecting computers to each other instead of a peripheral device.

These are some of the best types of mobile charging connectors available on the market today. Before upgrading your phone, you should make sure to check the charger type to see its compatibility with existing devices in the house, or else you will end up with bundles of charges, leading to confusion and chaos! The quality of the USB cable has an impact on the charging speed. A bad quality cable reduces the conductivity performance and slows down the charging speed. Hence, it is necessary to choose the correct mobile charging connector.
