Thousands of people sleep without food daily and on the other hand tons of food is wasted daily. People want to help but the problem which comes is that they are not sure that the money they are giving is going in good hands or that money will be misused. Sometimes it happens that people ask for help or money and we give them thinking that they will eat something or help their family, but they misuse that money in drinking and gambling, etc. Because of this the people who want to help don’t come forward because they have this feeling that the money will be wasted, and because of some defaulters the needy ones have to suffer.
Roti bank acts as a medium that helps to solve the problem of both ends. As said that feeding a hungry is a deed of God. Roti Bank is working on that concept. It often happens that we prepare lots of food for parties and because of some reason or the other that food does not get consumed and is left. Roti bank collects food from marriages and restaurants and from houses and distributes it to slums and needy people.
Roti Bank is working hard for the betterment of the country but it will take ...
... time. Nearly thousands of people sleep daily without food and it’s very sad that some of the others die too because of famine. Many branches have been opened in different cities like Jaipur, Dehradun, Varanasi, Agra, etc. This work cannot be done by a single person so there are groups created whose motive is to collect food and provide it in slums. The food which is left in the marriages was usually thrown or wasted but then came the Roti bank India. There are groups of members who are working for it, their number or contact details can easily be found online or on the website of roti bank. If there is marriage and there is surplus food left so one can contact Roti Bank. All you have to do is to pack that food and keep it. The member of Roti Bank will come to your and pick that food and distribute it.
Roti Bank also collects foods from door to door. There are groups formed in localities which collect food on daily bases also. You need to pack the food and the member of Roti bank will collect the food from your doorstep. The main aim of this NGO is that it aims to feed the unprivileged people and stop wastage of food. Many different branches have been opened in different cities who are working day and night for feeding the hungry ones.
