Jama Masjid
Reach Jama Masjid at Old Delhi in the early evening time of 4 p.m. and enjoy the serenity of it in the beautiful evening dusk. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1656, Jama Masjid, is one of the largest mosques in the country. The mosque was completed with three great gates, four towers, and two 40 meters high minarets with strips of red sandstone and white marble. During the ‘Namaz’ the main courtyard can accommodate more than 25,000 people and a feeling of pure religious devotion and calmness settles in the whole area. The huge domes and corridors of the mosque give a surreal sense of traveling back in time to the era of the Mughal Period.

Outside the Jama Masjid, you can pass through the narrow and world-famous streets of Old Delhi and experience the exotic cuisines, handicrafts, and clothing shops that are hundreds of years old holding on to the legacies left by their ancestors all in one day with us at your Delhi city tour.

India Gate
After visiting Qutub Minar, we leave for the war memorial- India Gate, located astride the Rajpath, on the eastern edge of the “ceremonial axis” of New Delhi, formerly called Kingsway. You reach India Gate at 9 a.m. and after that, we move forward towards the Presidential House on Rajpath.

Presidential House
At around 10 a.m., we take you to your next destination on your Delhi City Tour is President’s House- the residential mansion of the President of India, located at the Western end of Rajpath. the largest residence of any head of state in the world, in terms of area with the main mansion of 340 rooms that has the president’s official residence, including reception halls, guest rooms, and offices.

Lotus Temple
After capturing the grandeur of the Presidential House, we leave for another destination of your one-day tour in Delhi at around 12 p.m. to the Lotus Temple which is a Bahá’í House of Worship that was dedicated in December 1986. As goes by the titular name it is notable for its flowerlike shape. With a capacity of around 2500 people, Lotus Temple stands to almost a height of 34.27 meters, composed of 27 free-standing marble-clad “petals” arranged in clusters of three to form nine sides. One cannot simply overlook the peace and sense of awe that comes while being inside this majestic architectural marvel which always reflects the essence of staying calm.

Old Delhi
We reach Old Delhi from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. which also goes by the name of “Purani Dilli”. It was founded as a walled city of Delhi, built-in1639, by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Old Delhi still holds many Havelis along with the historical Red Fort and the famous streets of Chandni Chowk and the grand mosque of Jama Masjid.

Chandni Chowk

One of Old Delhi’s major ‘bazaars’ (markets), the Chandni Chowk has many street joints that sell spicy “chaat” (tangy and spicy snacks). The Chandni Chowk (Moonlight Square) is one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi. The Red Fort is located within the market.
