A Cleaning Checklist for the Home
Clean tasks can be broken down into daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly categories using this house cleaning checklist. Use these guidelines to design your daily cleaning checklist based on our master list.
Cleaning Checklist for the Day. Clean worktops, wash dishes, empty trash cans, make beds, wipe down sinks in the kitchen and bathrooms, and hang towels in the restrooms.

Every year, the house needs to be cleaned. Restore your fireplace and chimney and your carpets and upholstered furniture. You should also thoroughly clean your windows, the area around your dryer, and any vents.
The Cleaning Schedule for the Kitchen
• Cabinets
A microfibre or clean cloth dipped in a mix of mild dish detergent, and lukewarm water should be used to wipe the surface from top to bottom. Remove smeared grease and fingerprints by wiping along the grain of the surface.
• Stove
Grate and dispose of the grate and burners. Rinse the sponge thoroughly and repeat if necessary to remove soap residue. To remove watermarks, use a kitchen towel or microfiber cloth.
• Countertops
Wipe up spills and stains using a sponge and all-purpose cleaner, then polish with a fresh cloth. Use club soda to polish dull counters that have seen better days.
• Microwave
Boil for 3-4 minutes on high power. Allow the microwave to fill with steam before wiping clean the interior with a sponge. In the sink, wash the turntable by hand.
• Sink
To clean the sink:
Combine baking soda and water, then apply with a nonabrasive sponge.
Make sure you use hot water to wash your sponge and the sink.
Restore the flow of water by wiping the faucet.
• Floor
Start by removing any loose debris or food from your floor. A mop and some soapy water will bring the shine back to the floors. Before cleaning, do some research on the best ways to care for your particular type of flooring.

Checklist for Cleaning the Bathroom
Rinse the tub and shower with hot water after using a cleanser and a moist sponge or cloth to clean. To avoid the growth of mould and mildew, use a towel to wipe the surface and activate the exhaust vent.
• Mirror
Clean your teeth with a cloth and warm water to eliminate toothpaste, soap, and residue. Clean the mirror and the frame with glass cleaner.
• Sinks
A sponge and hot water are needed to clean and rinse the sinks. Use a soft brush to clean the drain area and the caulked edges. Using hot water, rinse the surface again.
• Toilet
Use a bathroom cleaner to clean the tank, lid, and the toilet bowl's interior and exterior. The seat, lid and exterior should be wiped off using a damp cloth. Using a toilet brush, thoroughly clean the bowl.
• Floor
Vacuum and mop the floor. You should pay special attention to areas around corners and behind the bathroom toilets. Rinse the floor well with clean, hot water, then use a towel to dry it.
• Wastebasket
Remove the garbage. Replace the liner in the trash can and spray it with an all-purpose cleaner before wiping it down.
Curtains in Bathrooms
Simply remove the shower curtain and toss it in the washer to clean. Using a damp cloth, clean your curtain rod and rings with hot water.
• Medications
Clean the inside of the container by emptying the contents, spraying it with cleaner, then wiping it down. Use a gentle brush to clean the corners if necessary.
• External Vanity
Remove everything from the area under your sink and throw it out. Doors, knobs, and bottoms should be cleaned. Use a clean cloth to clean the nooks and crannies, if necessary.
Fixtures & Faucets
A moist cloth and an all-purpose cleaner can be used to scrub between faucet handles and other hard-to-reach areas of the fixtures. After rinsing with hot water, a dry cloth should be used to buff the surface.
Your bathroom fan cover can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner's brush attachment or a clean paintbrush.
Cleaning your bathroom can be a daunting task without the assistance of someone who has done it before.
Checklist for Bedroom Cleaning
• Declutter
Remove anything that doesn't belong and put it back in its proper position. Take an unbiased look at your bedroom and get rid of anything you rarely use.
• Make Your Bed
Remove everything off the bed and wash it, including the sheets, shams, bed skirt, and blankets. Dump the vacuum cleaner bag into the bed and turn the mattress over.
• Closet
Take everything out of your closet and put it in a pile. Clean and organize the closet by vacuuming or sweeping (don't forget the cobwebs!).
• Surfaces
Wipe off all surfaces, including light switches, ceiling fans, and shelves, with a damp cloth.
• Windows/Mirrors
Dusk he frames of your windows and mirrors. Clean the blinds and curtains with a vacuum.
• Floor
