Heat Reflective Paint - Heatseal
Protexion is heat reflective paint or sun reflective paint with an SRI value of 122, tested for ASTM / LEEDS standards for green building. Protexion is a high SRI and high albedo coating that can be applied to all types of roofs. It is a solar reflective paint and is intended to reduce the temperature of the roof. It is a thermal insulating roof coating that reduces the solar heat coming into the roof. Green Building Bodies in India is one of the few green building products approved by GRIHA and IGBC for high albedo coatings. Ability to reflect or resist heat on all roof surfaces such as poly-flex as RCC, concrete, metal, asbestos, GI, galvanized sheets, pre-coated roof sheets and insulation coatings.
Heat Reflective Paint
It is an insulating paint and acts as a heat dissipating paint that can be applied to all types of roofs. The purpose of the solar reflective coating properties of bricks is to achieve good heat dissipation results. It is a thermal reflective paint and prevents excess solar heat from entering the roof.
Heat reflective is helpful for cooling down your roof. This is due to the patient's ability ...
... to reflect solar radiation. Before entering the house, it eliminates solar heat while drawing out excess heat. As a consequence, better insulation will help your house. At Protexion, we manufacture and suppliers of heat reflective coating which is an infrared reflective coating ideal for our extreme Indian weather conditions.
Some of the benefits of heat reflective paint
Heat reflective paint is a regular paint with heat reflective quality. This eco-friendly method improves the insulation properties of buildings and these paints are generally available in light colors as they can reflect up to 80% of solar radiation.
Heat reflective paint is designed to reflect more sunlight and absorb less heat, and its use lowers the ceiling temperature and lowers the room temperature accordingly. Low temperature gradients on slabs reduce power consumption in air-conditioned spaces.
Reduced air conditioning costs - It can minimise heat penetration from the roof, keeping the interior cool and comfortable, reducing the air-conditioning load and expense since less energy will be needed.
Excellent resistance to water - It has an excellent resistance to transmission of water. It will also help you in waterproofing your roof. It doesn’t get affected by mild acid rain and other liquids also.
Improve lifetime of roof - This paint offers exterior durability and UV resistance with have a better mechanical strains and helps protect a roof from weathering
Improve indoor comfort - It reduces heat generation, providing greater comfort and quality of life for staff and residents of buildings by reducing ambient temperature and increasing their efficiency and productivity by more than 15%.
APPLICATION OF HEAT REFLECTIVE PAINT:
There are the following steps in the application of heat reflective paint as given below:
Cleaned metals should be washed with water or bleaching powder, and before each use, the paint should be stirred.
Then on a clean and washed surface, apply the first coat with a brush.
Then apply another coat at least 3 to 4 hours apart.
For at least 2 hours, make sure the coated area does not come in contact with water.
Once the coating is complete, let it heal.
BENEFITS OF HEAT REFLECTIVE PAINT:
There are the following benefits of heat reflective paint as given below;
As a result of these paints constantly rejecting solar heat, there is a sharp decrease in roof heat like UV and infrared rays and these rays are reflected back into the atmosphere.
For a false ceiling, it eliminates the need.
On any roofing material or on the sidewalls, this paint can be coated.
This paint helps reduce global warming and greenhouse gas emissions.
Cold roof surfaces may be more susceptible to algae in warm and humid places.
For those who are environmentally conscious, this form of coating is a safe option. It significantly reduces a building’s emission of carbon dioxide. Reflective heat paint can help reduce the energy use of your household while reducing your utility bill. The coating is acceptable for a number of roofs, including metal.
