Visceral or abdominal fat tends to sit too close to some of our vital organs such as the heart and pancreas. This means that visceral fat is usually associated with health risks such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

While the dangers of visceral fat may be alarming, several clinically approved methods teach us how to reduce excess fat at home.

Finally, limit your sugar and alcohol intake. Sugar and alcohol disrupt your hormonal and sleep cycle. In the long run, it is always better to get good sleep and cut down on any color or texture of sugar.
