1. Start the process by switching off your iPhone. You can do this by pressing volume up, volume down as well as the lock screen button simultaneously until the shutdown slider comes up.
2. Utilise your pentalobe screwdriver to get rid of the two screens at your iPhone's bottom, which is around the charging port.
3. Next, make sure to place the suction cup onto the screen bottom to pull the screen away from the body in order to fit your pry pool between them.
4. Pull up on the suction cup to lift the screen and then insert your pry tool into the gap.
5. Make sure to avoid pushing the pry tool too deep or separating the screen too far from the body as there are delicate ribbon cables between them that can get damaged.
6. Once the display is free, make sure to open it up from the left side and disconnect the three ribbon cables along the right side.
7. After that, you must remove the cover plate by using a tri point screwdriver to remove the five screws that secure the cover plate of the connector.
8. Then, start with the battery connector to make sure the power is disconnected from the iPhone. This is important for disconnecting the two display ribbon cable connectors.
9. Then, you need to disconnect the two display ribbon connectors.
10. Lastly, make sure to disconnect the forward-facing camera and FaceID connector.
11. The display of your iPhone is now free from its body and all you need to do is to place the new screen to your iPhone body and get it back assembled the way you have removed your iPhone screen.
