Connect the modem to the yellow ethernet port on the back of the router using an ethernet cable.

Open a web browser. When the router’s LEDs light up, type routerlogin.net into the address bar and login. The default username is “ADMIN” and the default password is “PASSWORD”.

You then will be asked to change your login credentials, add some security questions, and update firmware.

You may want to powerup your network connection if you are experiencing connection issues. The term power cycling means shutting down the respective device and then turning it back on again.
