Organic bio fertilizers are products in which soil fertility and microorganisms required for plant growth are mixed into the soil.
What is a Bio fertilizer?
Organic bio fertilizers are substances that contain microorganisms, which help plants and shrubs to grow by increasing the supply of essential nutrients to the plants. These include organisms containing mycorrhizal fungi, blue-green algae, and bacteria. Mycorrhizal fungi extract minerals mainly from organic matter for plants, while cyanobacteria are characterized by nitrogen fixation properties.

Nitrogen fixation is defined as the process of converting di-nitrogen molecules into ammonia. For example, some bacteria convert nitrogen into ammonia. As a result, nitrogen becomes available to plants.

Anand Agro Care established in 2009 and made a name for itself in the list of top bio fertilizer manufacturers & suppliers in India.
Types of Bio fertilizers
Following are the important types of bio fertilizers:
Symbiotic Nitrogen-Fixing Bacteria
Rhizobium is an important symbiotic nitrogen-fixing bacterium. Here the bacteria take ...
... refuge and get food from the plants. In return, they help the plants by giving them specific nitrogen.
Loose Association of Nitrogen-Fixing Bacteria
Azospirillum is a nitrogen-fixing bacterium that lives around the roots of tall plants but does not develop close contact with plants. These bacteria collect plant emissions and use them as food, hence the name Rhizosphere Association. This process is called collaborative interaction.
Symbiotic Nitrogen-Fixing Cyanobacteria
Blue-green algae or cyanobacteria from the coexistence of many plants. Liverworts, sycamore roots, ferns and lichens are some of the nitrogen-fixing cyanobacteria. Annabena is found in the leaf cavities of ferns. It is responsible for nitrogen fixation. Fern seedlings rot and leave for use in rice plants. Azolla peanuts are ferns that live in rice fields but do not regulate plant growth.
Free-living nitrogen-fixing bacteria
They are free-living soil bacteria that fix nitrogen. They are saprotrophic anaerobes such as Clostridium bezerinki, Azotobacter etc.

Rhizobium and Azospirillum are widely used in all types of bio-fertilizers.
Components of Bio fertilizers
The components of bio fertilizers include:
Bio fertilizers Compost
It is also an environmentally friendly product made from waste from the sugar industry. It is grown by human friendly bacteria, fungi and various plants.
Tricho-Card
It is an environmentally friendly and non-pathogenic product found in various crops as well as in horticultural and ornamental plants like rice, apple, sugarcane, brinjal, corn, cotton, vegetables, citrus etc. Eggs from many farm pigs, sprouts, fruits, leaves, flowers and other pathogens.
Importance of Bio fertilizers
Bio fertilizers are important for the following reasons:
Bio fertilizers improve the soil texture and yield of plants.
They do not allow pathogens to flourish.
They are eco-friendly and cost-effective.
Bio fertilizers protect the environment from pollutants since they are natural bio fertilizers.
They destroy many harmful substances present in the soil that can cause plant diseases.
Bio fertilizers are proved to be effective even under semi-arid conditions.
