Here’s how you can disable the search indexing option via Command Prompt on your Windows 11 computer:
❖ Open the search menu and type “cmd” in the search bar.
❖ From the search results that you can see on your screen, click on the appropriate option.
❖ Next, you will have to select the option of “Run as Administrator.”
❖ And when the Command Prompt window shows up on your screen, you will then have to enter the following command: “sc stop “search” && sc config “search” start=disabled”
❖ After entering the command, you will then hit the enter key to proceed.
❖ And after you are done with following all of the above steps, the Windows Search service will get disabled automatically and will turn off the indexing feature.
