And when you finally reach the main window, go to the left sidebar to select the option of “Privacy & Security.”

When the Privacy and Security settings page appears on your screen, scroll down to reach the “Windows Permission” section and click the “Searching Windows” option.

After this, you will see the Searching Windows page appearing on your screen. Here, you will also notice that the “Exclude Folders from Enhanced Search” display the folders that are hidden from the Windows search results.

If you want to add a specific folder here, you will have to click the option of “Add an Excluded Folder.”

You will now be able to see a “Select Folder” window showing up on your screen. Here, you will choose the folder that you would like to hide from the search results.

Now, you will see the path of the selected folder appearing in the “Exclude Folders from Enhanced Search” section. And this will confirm that your folder is hidden from the search results.

If you wish to unhide the hidden folder, you will need to click the three-dotted icon placed next to your folder in the “Exclude Folders from Enhanced Search” section. At last, click the “Remove” button. And that’s it.
