Learn To Manage Favorites On The New Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge is the latest web browser by Microsoft, and it’s continuously making the headlines. However, managing the favorites option on Microsoft Edge is a bit difficult.  In case you wish to add favorites in Edge, then we can help you out.  So, here are the steps to manage favorites on the new Microsoft Edge.
Store Sites as Favorites to Manage Favorites on New Microsoft Edge
To store the sites as favorites on Microsoft Edge, proceed with the procedure stated below:

Launch the Microsoft Edge on your system.
Then go to the web screen.
You should click on the Star icon from the address bar.
Alternately, specify a fresh name for the link.
After that, go to the menu of Folder to choose the location to store the site.
Now, select the Done tab.

Launch the Microsoft Edge on your system.

To display the favorites button on Microsoft Edge, proceed with the procedure stated below:

Launch the Microsoft Edge on your system.
Click on the vertical ellipsis menu button and select Settings and more
After that, choose the Favorites submenu and select the’ Show favorites button in the toolbar.’

Import Favorites from File to Manage Favorites on New
To import favorites from a file on Microsoft Edge, proceed with the procedure stated below:

Go to the Microsoft Edge on your system.
After that, select Settings and more within the upper right-hand side of the screen.
Reach the submenu Favorites and select the option Manage favorites.
You have to choose the option Import favorites.
Navigate to the ‘Import from’ menu and select the option ‘Favorites or bookmarks HTML file.’
Tick the option ‘Favorites or bookmarks’.
Select the Choose file.
Choose the file with bookmarks.
Go to the Open tab.
Then select the Done tab.

Export Favorites to File to Manage Favorites on New
To export favorites to file on Microsoft Edge, proceed with the procedure stated below:

Launch the Microsoft Edge on your system.
Choose Settings and more within the upper right-hand side of the screen.
You should choose the submenu Favorites and select the option Manage favorites.
Select the option Export favorites.
Choose the folder location.
You should state the descriptive name.
Now, select the Save tab.

Turn on or off Favorites Synchronize to Manage Favorites on New Microsoft Edge
To enable or disable favorites synchronize on Microsoft Edge, proceed with the procedure stated below:

Launch Microsoft Edge on the PC.
You should choose Settings and more tabs within the upper right-hand side.
Choose Settings.
Select the Profiles option.
Beneath the field of ‘Your profile,’ select the option Sync.
When available, select the Turn on sync tab.
You have to select the Confirm tab.
Enable or disable the toggle of Favorites to turn on or off, synchronizing for the links.

Make a Favorite or Folder to Manage Favorites on New
To store the sites as favorites on Microsoft Edge, proceed with the procedure stated below:

Launch Microsoft Edge.
Then choose Settings and more tabs.
Go to the Favorites and select the option Manage favorites.
Choose Add folder or Add favorite.
Then finish the needed detail.
Now, select the Save tab.

Edit Favorite or Folder to Manage Favorites on New
To edit favorite or folder on Microsoft Edge, proceed with the procedure stated below:

Launch Microsoft Edge.
Choose the Settings and more tab.
Go to the submenu Favorites and select the option Manage favorites.
Select the item, and right-click on it, then choose the Edit option.
Finish the changes process.
Now, select the Save tab.

Hide Labels for Folders and Favorites to Manage Favorites on New
If you want to show or hide the folder or favorite name, select the item, right-click on it within the address bar, and choose the option ‘Show icons only.’ To show the label once more, right-click on the item, select ‘Show icon only’ to remove the settings.
