However, you can effectively use Yoga to balance your chakras. It helps in the inward flow of energy such that you feel energized and full of enthusiasm. Root Chakras: This chakra is located at the base of your spine and is responsible for driving energy from the ground or earth to other parts of the body. Solar Plexus Chakra: This chakra is located at the navel and is responsible for connecting to us the greatest energy of all, the sun. This gives us a sense of willpower and determination. We experience self-esteem and stress whenever it is unbalanced.
The boat pose works wonders for this chakra system. For this posture, you are required to sit on the ground with your knees folded and pointing upwards. Now slowly, lean back such that your legs are off the ground and stretched outwards.
Heart Chakra: This chakra is responsible for providing unconditional love and respect as well as helping in forming connections with others. It is a gateway to love and is responsible for giving and receiving love and connection.
You can try low lunge yoga postures to balance this chakra. For this pose, you are required to lean forward such that your front knee is folded and your leg behind is stretched behind. Your torso is straightened and your hands stretched upwards.
Throat Chakra: This chakra is responsible for communication and verbal cues. This chakra has a large impact on speaking truth and originality.
Chanting works great for the throat chakra. Sit straight with your legs crossed to each other with your hands placed on your knees.
Third eye chakra: this chakra is located at the brow point and is the point of intuition. This chakra helps in accessing clear thoughts and self-reflection.
The dolphin pose is great for balancing this chakra. For this, all you have to do is, bend forward such that your hips are facing upwards and your head is bent down.
Crown Chakra: This chakra is responsible for developing emotions like trust and devotion. It is the seat of consciousness and connects us to inspiration and infinite limits.
You can try a balanced butterfly pose to balance this chakra. You are required to sit on your toes with your legs wide apart. Fold your hands and bring them to your heart. Breathe heavily as you do this and slowly raise your folded hands above your head.
