Starting the list is really a relatively fresh percussionist, some can say that he is not actually a punk percussionist and more of a metal one but I differ, it's right that he's partial to slow it down and do a few doom style fills but deep down he's genuinely a punk rocker-

Steve Jocz -AKA "Stevo"
Born 23/07/1981. He is mainly identified for his percussionist in the Canadian punk band Sum 41. A really quick and also tight percussionist, he's able to move the ambiance of a song straight away. One of the small amount of punk drummers that is able to carry out cheesy metal fills and get away with handling it. He is also renowned for his toilet comedy which is a distinct mark of punk maturity/immaturity- you call it!

Travis Barker
Born 14/11/1975. Probably most recognized for his percussionist in Blink 182 he's also banged away for countless other groups. Travis comes in at number four not merely because of his extreme speed and timing but due to his wide selection of techniques from Punk to Hip-hop, Pop to even Country.

Tre Cool (real name Frank Edwin Wright III)
Born December 9, 1972. Tre is ...
... 1 of the original (pretty much) 3 piece that make up Green Day. Slanting much closer to the pop side of punk as a percussionist, Tre certainly helped Green Day grasp the global audience that boosted them to superstars. If he been just one more, breakneck speed, cliched drummer the band would have toiled to pull such a major market.

Josh Freese
Born December 25, 1972. Freese is chiefly renowned for his percussionist in The Vandals however is capable of listing a lot of different other groups and accomplishments. A breakneck velocity percussionist he's able to slow it all the way down and merge with the very best and has played for Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson and Guns N' Roses as if to illustrate the point. His solo albums may well well also show a deliberate, more refrained drumming technique proving that a fast pace is not everything however personally I favour the Vandals sound.

Erik Sandin-AKA "Smelly"
Born July 29, 1966. Sandin is the stable percussionist for NOFX. Sandin was a founder part of the band however departed two years later in 1983. In 1986 he was persuaded to re-join the band but struggled from heroin dependence till 1992 when he checked into a rehabilitation treatment centre and has been off the drugs continuously since. Sandin is probably not the top of many people's list, for virtually anyone who appreciates the brilliance of NOFX then there is virtually no competition.

Even though Nick has matured (a little) and makes use of his time consulting for http://www.virtualassistants.org.uk/free-trial.php service, he continues to be an enormous fan of punk. His hair's a bit more tolerable at this time.
