3. Khajjar
Located in the Chamba valley of Himachal Pradesh, it is rightly given the nickname of being ‘Mini Switzerland’. Its heart-warming fresh air, thick forests, and beautiful views are the perfect honeymoon destination. All the chocolate lovers can come here for the cheese and chocolate making as well as the Dolphin’s nose viewpoint which offers a breathtaking view of the area. If you want to extend your stay, you can travel to Ooty which is just 19 km away from there.

7. Dawki
Away from the crowded cities and skyscrapers, Dawki is a small town situated in Meghalaya. Besides being a trade hub between India and Bangladesh, it is also a scenic destination for people who want some time away from crowds and cities. If you choose to go here, don’t forget to go on a boat trip to the river Umngot and visit the Shri Chamunda Devi Temple. It is one of the less known honeymoon places in India.

8. Dhanaulti
Hidden in the hills of Himalaya, Dhanaulti is a less-known gem when it comes to honeymoon destinations. It provides the perfect solace and calm required for the newbie lovebirds on their honeymoon. This is the kind of place where you can go for a quick run away from city life.
