Height of shaft: The height of the shaft selected depends on the distance between the center of the shaft and the base of the block bearing. Optimum height is essential for proper rotation.

Speed of the rotation: Speed of the rotation decides the selection of the bearing. Each bearing has its capacity and cannot be used for the speed beyond the set speed. The maximum allowable speed of each bearing should be considered while making the selection.

Load-carrying capacity: Each bearing has a specific load-carrying capacity. Based on the load that needs to be rotated, the bearing should be selected.

All these parameters should be considered while selecting the best suitable bearing for the proper working.
