In situations when an emergency strikes but the hospital is too far, ambulances save lives on the go. Thus, the quality of the ambulance's medical equipment and staff is essential. The ambulances should be fully equipped to handle any situation. Situations like a fall from stairs, a stroke, or a gunfire wound.
But do you ever wonder what equipment is in the ambulances that can bring back people from the brink of death? A heavy-duty battery that makes vehicles working and the following equipment is what you will always find in an ambulance:

ECG Monitor and a Defibrillator

ECG and defibrillators are useful for heart-related emergencies. An ECG monitor keeps the track of all the vital signs of the patient. Defibrillators are useful to stabilize a heart undergoing cardiac arrest or to revive a patient's heartbeat.

A nebulizer vaporizes liquid medication into a mist. This allows the patient to inhale it on the way to the hospital. This is useful when the patient needs immediate relief and when it is critical to administer any medicines.

Infusion Syringe Pumps

An infusion syringe pump is a piece of medical equipment that can either infuse or withdraw liquid into or from the patient's body. One can also set the target flow.

Cots are the heart of the ambulance. They host the patient and also keep the patient safe. It permits the helpers to transport him/her from the place of the emergency to the ambulance.

The most used transport device from the patient home to the back of an ambulance is the ambulance chair. Because it provides proper comfort and space for the patient to accommodate and rest his/her body part.

Sphygmomanometer

The Sphygmomanometer is a standard instrument for measuring blood pressure. This device is helpful to measure the blood pressure of a patient in need of emergency medical attention.

Rescue Splints and Bandages

Most common splints have different measures and shapes to adapt at best to the fractured or sprained joints. And we all are aware of how versatile a bandage is! From wounds to bleeding, bandages are useful everywhere to heal minor cuts and stop bleeding.
