What is a gaited horse? It is a type of horse that moves with an exaggerated, high-stepping action. Gaited horses are usually known for their smooth and comfortable ride because they have what we call "big feet" meaning they don't need to take such small steps when walking which means the rider doesn't get sore after riding long distances like on other breeds of horses.
