What you get for your money is a very comprehensive OCR application which is also quite accurate. We didn't get results as accurate as TextGrabber or ImageToText, but it was with a small margin and could easily have been the result of a source photo that just wasn't as good with the same margin. (We used the same page in testing, but took new photos with each app, as each app had different camera requirements and preferences.) If you want something that can handle text gross, business cards, invoices and whiteboards, Prizmo is a great option. It will also read you the recognized text, which certainly has its useful applications as well.

This is also worth mentioning as it doesn't seem to work at all. We don't know if this is a bug in the current version or what, exactly, but it couldn't recognize any text we threw at it. to know where the text is and provides a nice overlay to show that he recognizes it when he takes a photo, but everything we photographed has been converted to a scrambled string.You should avoid this.
