Understanding Anti Static Bags

You here the phrase Anti Static Bag and you think it's a bag that protects a product from static charge, the trouble is there are different types. Before you order any make sure you have the correct type. ESD stands for electro static discharge and it is this phenomenon, that can damage a static sensitive product. Static Electricity can still pass through the bag. What you need is a bag that can offer Faraday Cage protection, this can be provided by using a Black Conductive Bag or a Static Shield Bag.
