The latest Fitbit tracker from Google could feature a circular, colored display. Fitbit's next activity tracker could be the Fitbit Charge 5. According to recent rumors, the nextgeneration fitness band is about to make its appearance soon.

According to renders provided to Twitter on Saturday by leaker Evan Blass, the Fitbit Charge 5 may include a redesigned rounded shape and color display. The Fitbit Charge 5's new design, if it includes a curved screen, then might be comparable to the Fitbit Luxe, which was unveiled in April. Even though Blass's depiction doesn't reveal any details about the upcoming fitness tracker, there are three color options for the rumored Fitbit Charge 5 that are teal, cream, and black.

Normally, a new Charge model is released every two years, which could explain why there have been few leaks and rumors concerning the Charge 5. However, our first sightings of the speculated device came in July and August 2021, indicating that the Charge 5 could arrive sooner than predicted. Continue reading to learn everything there is to know about the Fitbit Charge 5. The Fitbit Charge 5 will have its ...
... things figured out for it, but with the appropriate upgrades, it may be able to keep up. Stay tuned as we discover more about the next-generation Fitbit and will update this guide as soon as we have additional information.

Fitbit Charge 5 Expected Release Date, and Price

The Charge 5 is expected to cost £149.95 / £129.99 / AU$229.95 at its arrival. Fitbit has a track record of keeping the same launch price for subsequent generations in the same price range. The Fitbit Charge 5 is expected to come out around October 2021 or April 2022, at the earliest.

Leaks About the Design of the Fitbit Charge 5

As per leaks the Fitbit charge 5 appears to be less angular than the other Fitbit smartwatches. The bezels, on the other hand, appear to be a little out of place. While the large, rectangular footprint will remain, the sharp edges will be replaced with a softer, curved chassis. The renders also hint at a color touchscreen for the Fitbit Charge range. Color watch faces and animations will be appreciated as previous models featured a monotonous grayscale OLED display.

The Charge 5 appears to be built of higher-quality materials as well. The latest renders show the exteriors in black, silver, or gold, with simple yet athletic straps. Previous Charge models featured a more "no-frills" sporty appearance.
So far, no specs have been released, but we don't expect any significant changes from the Charge 4. We expect to see heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, GPS, oxygen saturation monitoring, and other such features in this watch.

Display of the Fitbit Charge 5

It would also be advantageous to have a higher-resolution display. Although a screen this small is unlikely to be useful for mapping, more pixels per inch means we'll be able to see more text on-screen for smartphone notifications and statistics. Every aspect matters when a device is this little.

Expected Features of the Fitbit Charge 5

Features like guided breathing sessions, EDA stress monitoring, and a sensor for the ECG could come on this fitness tracker. EDA monitoring is a unique feature that would set the Fitbit Charge 5 apart from the competition. Stress monitoring is a crucial aspect of general wellbeing, and the Fitbit app already has a mood diary feature, so this would be a terrific addition. Modern fitness trackers include guided breathing sessions, which assist you to sit calmly and relax your breathing during stressful moments, lowering your heart rate.

It would go well with the above-mentioned EDA stress monitoring. Another feature we expect in the upcoming Fitbit Charge 5 is an ECG sensor and it would be a nice addition to the Fitbit Charge 5. It's a helpful tool for detecting atrial fibrillation early and serving as a starting point for a conversation with your doctor. It would be great if Fitbit increased the Charge 5's battery life to ten days.

Final words

The inclusion of a color screen, which has been a long time coming to the Charge series, appears to be the second major update for the Charge 5. Blass also provided photos of the gadget in three distinct colors, including dark charcoal, a subdued teal, and a beigey cream. No specifications have been released yet, but we don’t expect any major changes. Features like heart rate tracking, sleep monitoring, GPS, oxygen saturation monitoring, and others are expected in the Fitbit charge 5.
