Shoppers are so alike in many ways, even though we may not always realize it. For example, whatever we buy, we want to know the product is presented well and looks attractive, inviting and is therefore right for us. This also means we want to know it is packaged well, and in many cases also airtight, especially once the food is involved.

Food, we know, needs to be kept fresh and good for as long as possible otherwise it may be detrimental to our health if it loses its freshness and/or nutritional value. Examples of dry and wet foods, some that naturally last longer than others, and some that need to be consumed almost immediately, abound.

To ensure the end-user, the customer, receives the best products, manufacturers, and retailers need to know they have done everything that will indeed make only the best and freshest – or well-preserved – foods and supplements available to the market. This often starts with good, proper packaging methods and services.

Stick packaging, the term., comes from its shape, which is fairly long and skinny, or narrow, rather than round and full/fat – although the last ...
... category certainly has its place and is used by many manufacturers. It is flexible and depends on issues such as practicality, design options, and the market that is targeted. These packs are filled with whatever product is to be sold and then sealed on both ends with a seal down the back.

They are popular over a wide front whether you want to put a powder in them for the customer to simply pour into a glass of water as a meal, or meal replacement, or any other supplement to provide energy and boost general health, for example. These stick packs are made in a factory or similar facility where they are run on a so-called stick packaging machine to create the size and shape that the market demands the foods to be kept in until they are cut or torn open.

These stick packs do have certain benefits when compared to many other forms of packaging. They are very convenient to carry, to keep in a cupboard, in a sports bag, or wherever one is going to use them. They are also easy to handle and use when, for example, you want to pour a powder through a bottleneck and mix it with water for quick use.

Also, these sticks normally hold a single serving, making it easy to handle and use since you can keep one of them at a time in your purse, your bag, or car. Depending on the profile of a company and its products that need to reach their market, owners decide whether or not they need this type of packaging for their products, and if they do, they will approach a service that produces these sticks for them to be filled with their powders, gels or fluids they are selling.

Many retailers do not want to or do not have the facility, to simply buy the pouches and then fill them. Therefore, they make use of a service that manufactures the pouches, blends the products, and fills them with the desired gel, powder, or other product.

They may enter into what is known as a private label deal whereby the retailer’s name and credentials are used for marketing purposes even though the sticks and packaging were handed to another service provider, the stick packaging provider, the manufacturer. Some of these services offer great knowledge and expertise in their field and can assist retailers right from the start to that time their products appear on the shelf. Stick packs are very popular, and retailers have great opportunities to deal with some truly outstanding stick packaging service providers today.
