12 Years a Slave is the greatest performance of a villain
Steve McQueen's epic biographical portrait of Solomon Northup is one film I really regret not including in the top ten. If there were 11 places, this film would certainly be in them. Not only does Michael Fassbender deliver one of his greatest performances as one of the decade's greatest rascals, but we additionally see one of the decade's most recognizable new faces, Lupita Nyong'o, who won an Oscar for her portrayal of the slave Patsy.

Creed the best drama film of 2015
Another boxing drama, but this time the seventh in what may be the best series. Ryan Coogler connected his situation as a filmmaker to watch by that movie ere the achievement of Black Panther. Michael B. Jordan is excellent as Adonis Creed, and the chemistry between him and Tessa Thompson's brilliantly played Bianca is perhaps even stronger than the romance in the original Rocky. As for the man himself, I can say that Sylvester Stallone has never created a better character than Rocky training another champion.

A wonderful dramatic story Only the Brave
Concerning me, it was a special preference. It's not a very well-known job and I know there are some people who have never heard of it. However, I'm excited about this wonderful true story. Josh Brolin's performance as Eric Marsh is one of his best as he leads a team of firefighters and EMTs in the Arizona desert. Notable also is the excellent Jennifer Connelly as his wife, and each member of the team is given a personality that will be remembered long after the film is over. If you missed this movie, watch it again.

BlacKkKlansman is a real-life hero
Based on a novel written by real-life hero Ron Stallworth, this Spike Lee film is hard to categorize as a genre because of its dark humor, but I would categorize it as drama. the reign of the KKK 40 years ago does not mean that the same hatred does not exist today. It is a film that is very relevant to our culture and shows that just because the KKK was in its heyday 40 years ago does not mean that the same spirit of hatred does not exist today. In addition to this drama, the film features great performances by John David Washington, Adam Driver, and Toffy Grace. It's a good movie.

A great script and memorable characters
David O. Russell has become one of the most talked-about directors of the first half of this decade. The catalyst was the wonderful boxing drama that won Oscars for Melissa Leo and Christian Bale. Both films are great and you can watch them on 9kmovies, and Mark Wahlberg and Amy Adams are outstanding, so it's hard to miss a second. It also has a great script with memorable characters.
Oscar-Nominated Actors
When I say "not exactly A-list actors," I mean actors/actresses like Amandla Stenberg (who I don't know) in the lead role and Regina Hall as the dramatic mother and TV stars like Issa Rae and Sabrina Carpenter in important roles. They don't look like Oscar-nominated actors, and the ones who look best (Anthony Mackie and possibly Average Joe) have smaller roles. But the important thing is that they all work. Stenberg is great as the star, Hall is great as the mother, and Ray and Carpenter are great as well.
