Top Best Logos In The World And Fun Facts Associated With Them

Some of the top best logos in the world are famous because they are able to attract more and more consumers and can relate to the audience on a mental level. Most of the logos created have a story behind it or a fun fact that is associated with it.
Obviously, there is a lot of thinking that goes into creating one of the best brand logos in the world. But the logos that we are going to talk about in this article, are a shade apart and have stories, reasons, and values attached to them.
1. Google
Who doesn’t know about Google? The company’s logo is quite simple and easy to recognize which makes it one of the top best logos in the world. Originally the logo was designed by the designer Ruth Kedar using a Baskerville Bold font, but now it has a more flattering design.
Fact: The logo has the primary colors ...
... with the ‘L’ in rogue green. The founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin chose this to let their customers know that they don’t play by the rules and are more interested in breaking them.
2. National Geographic
The National Geographic logo is one of the best brand logos in the world simply because its customers are able to remember the business the moment they see the logo. The logo is quite simple, it has a rectangular box on one side in bright yellow and along side it is the name in two-level all-caps wordmark.
Fact: The yellow rectangular box is compared to the sun. The sun shines around the world, which is the same as the channel’s reach, which is global.
3. Facebook
Since Facebook is relatively a new company, its logo hasn’t changed much over the years. Facebook’s logo was first designed by Mike Buzzard in 2005. Frankly, the logo doesn’t even need to go through a change. It is loved by all the 2 billion people that use it daily after all.
Fact: According to The New Yorker magazine, the blue and white color of the logo was chosen because Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg has deuteranopia. It is a form of color blindness where a person can easily identify only two colors: white and blue.
4. Ford
This logo has seen some tremendous changes since it was first designed by the Chief designer Childe Harold Wills who was also Henry Ford’s friend. Initially the logo was just an emblem in black and white back in the year 1903. The logo we see today was introduced in 1912. In the 1970s, the blue in the logo was redesigned a bit by giving it a 3D effect.
Fact: The Ford logo is definitely one of the best brand logos in the world. But there is a weird story attached to it too. Back in the 1960s, the famous logo designer Paul Rand who was hired by Henry Ford II presented a different version of the logo which was rejected by Henry Ford II, saying that the logo was too modern.
